There is always room for improvement, though, and that is where the industry-leading expertise of our engineers comes into play. Like many supercars, a Lamborghini has an ECU that has to manage different needs around the world, and each model leaves Sant’Agata accordingly. Equally, every Lamborghini has its place in a hierarchy of models, which means some may be detuned to emphasise power or performance gains in a higher model, such as a Superleggera. Our engineers reverse that process, unlocking the full potential of your Lamborghini without compromising on reliability.
The 5.2-litre V10 engine in the Gallardo and Huracán, for example, is the same as in the Audi R8 and uses the same ECU. We have years of experience tuning this powertrain combination, and while its normally-aspirated nature makes a 15hp increase in power to 655hp and an additional 65Nm of torque seem modest, improvements in responsiveness and mid-range performance are immediately noticeable.
Another highly respected Lamborghini engine is the EA825 in the Urus super SUV. It is also fitted to the Audi RS6, Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne, all of which are popular candidates for remapping to unlock a multitude of improvements. This engine is one of the strongest available, and our tailored remap increases power to 720hp with 150 Nm of additional torque, bringing your Urus to an incredible 1,000 Nm. Whatever your needs, our R&D team has created a wide range of remaps to suit all requirements for this engine, from enhancing performance to retuning the exhaust note and overruns.
