The latest generation T6.1 2.0 CR TDI engine is controlled by a Bosch MD1CS104 ECU which has the latest Bosch tune protection installed, making the ECU ‘un-tuneable’ through conventional remapping methods.
We now have an alternative tuning option available through the use of a Dimsport Rapid TPM Tuning Module and a custom Avon Tuning Map setting.
The stock configuration of the T6.1 2.0 CR TDI provides a solid foundation, but it lacked in power. By integrating the Dimsport Rapid TPM module, our team crafts a finely tuned performance map that enhances torque and horsepower without compromising reliability or smoothness.
For DSG models we highly recommend installing the Dimsport FR (Fast Response) Pedal Module along with the TPM Module to enhance the throttle response and help to remove the annoying pedal delay.

Rapid TPM (Turbo Power Management) has been developed for the latest generation of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. The modules are equipped with a Microprocessor, FLASH EEPROM and RAM EEPROM to gain full control of the relevant pressure sensors. The modules can intervene and control CAN BUS signals and can even handle the latest SAE J2716 SENT communication protocols.
The TPM modules are preprogrammed with a recommended turbo / fuel map, however advanced installers such as ourselves are able to connect our laptop directly to the TPM module to log data and adjust the TPM map, giving us the ability to fully customise the TPM map for each given vehicle and customer requirements.
